With 3+ years of industry experience, Mohammad H. Malik brings well-rounded expertise and knowledge of field and office operations to BuildX International. Mohammad’s notable personal experience includes rehabilitation of complex projects such as $236M+ Queens Midtown Tunnel and $11M+ NYS 6 Bridges. In 2018, he brought his passion for the business to BuildX International, as founder and CEO. Mohammad, is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, defining the culture, promoting a safe and healthy work environment, and client engagement, to support the continuous growth of the firm. Prior to the firm’s inception, Mohammad journeyed through the industry’s ranks as a field engineer and project manager for TRC Companies Inc. and M&J Engineering P.C. He has worked on a wide range of projects and markets in various capacities, which includes clients such as TBTA and NYSDOT with a keen focus on maintaining excellence in customer relations. Mohammad’s, professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Concrete Institute. He earned his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Hofstra University. He also holds certifications from ACI as a certified concrete technician and OSHA certified in topics such as, hazard communication, fire prevention, excavations, cranes, OSHA construction standards for compliance and more. In addition, he’s a certified Radiation Safety Officer. Mohammad’s business expertise and knowledge of every phase of the construction process makes him a valued asset to BuildX International and his dedication and understanding of client needs aims to further solidify the organization’s core ideology and values to elevate BuildX International in continuous adaption to changing market conditions, increased revenue growth and organizational performance. Founded in 2016 by Mohammad H. Malik, BuildX Internationalbegan humbly as a small operation to fill local demand for construction work. Today, BuildX Internationalemploys engaged employees, led by a strong management team, with a shared belief in doing the right thing. Patrick Joy, Vice President

Patrick Joy has been on board with BuildX since incubation. With 3+ years of experience in the construction industry in all phases of construction, Patrick brings a lot of knowledge to the table. Starting his career with T.G. Nickel in 2016, he helped manage the construction of a $225+M mixed use building including both retail and residential spaces at Essex Crossing. In 2017 Patrick moved to John P. Picone Inc. and worked on a $60+M Bowery Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant renovation including the replacement of motors, pumps, controllers and effluent pipe. After the completion of the project, Patrick moved over to the LandTek Group Inc. where he works as an estimator for jobs ranging from a few thousand dollars to several million. As the Chief Estimator and VP of Business Development, Patrick brings his well-rounded knowledge of the industry to BuildX to ensure that your job is completed on time and under budget. Patrick holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from Hofstra University where he also played lacrosse.
